Climbing Rocks

This breath-taking photo of the free-climber scaling a mountain conveys confident euphoria as the climber is only supported by a small piece of rope, which is only there for a bit of stability. The  prospective in which this picture was taken really shows the impassioned bravery the climber shows, thousands of feet above the ground, with death waiting at the bottom.

The viewer should have just a little bit of admiration for what this guy is doing,  although cautious, the climber shows calm intensity that is conveyed as he faces death with his head held high.  I know for a fact that I would never scale a mountain without harnesses protecting my every move, and the bravery of this climber is really second to none.  It is amazing how some people do things, and that is what makes it great.

  1. Have you ever rock climbed yourself? If you don't mind risking your life for a little adventure, I'd recommend it. Very freeing. Good post. x

  2. Beautiful post. Almost as beautiful as the person describing it. I was once a free climber in my previous life. Great wording, it really makes me feel as if I were witnessing the situation.
